Nichole Diver is a Human Services professional with over sixteen years of experience in the field, specifically in a tribal capacity. Her career has been guided by her passion for tribal communities. She has effectively collaborated with various agencies and stakeholders, primarily focusing on building and maintaining partnerships between tribes and surrounding counties. This experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of the importance of nurturing government-to-government relationships and addressing the unique needs of Indigenous communities.

Currently serving as a Community Trainer at the University of Minnesota-Duluth since May 2022, she works collaboratively on enhancing understanding of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and the Minnesota Indian Family Preservation Act (MIFPA). With a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families in Native American communities, Nichole brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in social services, community health, and training.
Nichole holds a bachelor's degree in social work from the College of St. Scholastica, a Certificate of Tribal Governance and Administration from the University of Minnesota - Duluth and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Community Development from North Dakota State University.

In addition to her professional work, Nichole is actively involved as a member of the Cloquet School Board reflecting a commitment to the growth of community capacity, equity, inclusion, and diversity. When she isn't working, Nichole enjoys spending time with her husband and children, being outside, traveling, and running, which further enriches her perspective and creativity in her professional endeavors.
